Why the option to donate and what happens?

As many of you may have seen with the last game update I added a 'Name your own price' option when downloading the game and I think it's only fair for you all if I explain why it's there along with what happens with any donations. 

What is name your own price?

For those who aren't sure what this option is, it allows players to download the game but also add a donation, the amount being the players choice. This doesn't mean the game is now a paid game but instead allows those who enjoyed the game to support the further development of Dead Containment. The game can still be downloaded and played for free.

What happens to donations?

Any donations received go straight into the development of Dead Containment by paying for any asset licences such as models or sounds, software and hosting fees and development time by myself.

Why donate?

The simple answer is it's up to you if you feel like it deserves it. I made this game as part of a university piece which then grow into something I made for fun and wanted to share for free. I currently have no plans to charge a price for Dead Containment and wouldn't charge anyone to play it unless I felt like it was worth someone's money and could offer a full experience as a game. 

If you decide the game is worth your money and you want to show your appreciation through a donation then I would be thankful to your generosity and will do my absolute best to make a great game you can enjoy.
